Major Recruitment Oldbury are delighted to be recruiting for our reputable and ethical Dudley based client who are seeking a Maintenance Operative to join their maintenance team. You will be working for house builders and housing associations in the local areas, and are required to attend occupied housing to carry out varying snagging issues. Hours of work are Monday to Friday 8.30am to 4.30pm.
Duties and tasks will include:
- Carpentry: Adjusting doors, replacing skirting and architrave, adjusting squeaking floors, kitchen worktop and unit repair/replacement.
- Painting/Decorating: Plaster patching and re-painting.
- Tiling: Replacing tiles after plumbing repairs.
Candidates welcome to apply for the role will have the following:
- Carpentry qualification mandatory.
- Must have experience working in occupied houses.
- Experience as a multi-skilled operative essential.
- You are required to be able to work on your own and complete the works provided.
- Attention to detail and tidiness is key.
- Must hold valid CSCS Card.
