Major Recruitment are on the lookout for experienced CNC Turner to join our world leading client based in Altham. Our client is dedicated to producing high-quality products while maintaining a safe and efficient working environment.

We're looking for someone who is:

  • Skilled/qualified to NVQ level 3
  • Candidates with suitable, relevant experience in CNC Machining.
  • Knowledge and experience of setting CNC Machines including datums, tools offsets and safe proving out methods.
  • Possess machining knowledge surrounding geometry, cutting tools, inserts, fixtures and other accessories.
  • Excellent ability to read/understand engineering drawings.
  • Basic Fanuc programming knowledge of G and M codes.
  • Capable of inspecting own working using a wide range of precision measuring equipment (such as Vernier callipers, internal/external micrometres, depth gauges).
  • Basic maths/IT skills.
  • Experience of Mori-Seiki, Nakamura, and Okuma would be desirable but not essential.
