We are currently recruiting for Class 1 Drivers for our client in Aberdeen, for an immediate start.

About the Role

We are looking for a reliable and professional Class 1 (HGV) Driver to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and timely transportation of goods while delivering excellent customer service and maintaining full compliance with road transport regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely operate Class 1 (Category C+E) vehicles.
  • Complete scheduled deliveries and collections efficiently and on time.
  • Conduct daily vehicle safety checks and report any defects.
  • Secure loads correctly and ensure safe transportation.
  • Complete delivery paperwork and electronic records accurately.
  • Comply with all DVSA regulations, Working Time Directive, and drivers' hours legislation.
  • Maintain high standards of vehicle cleanliness and road safety.
  • Communicate effectively with transport planners, customers, and depot staff.
  • Represent the company professionally at all times.
  • Valid UK Class 1 (Category C+E) driving licence.
  • Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
  • Good understanding of drivers' hours and Working Time Directive regulations.
  • Excellent driving record with no major endorsements.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexible approach to working hours, including occasional weekends or nights if required.

Desirable Qualifications

  • Previous experience in multi-drop or trunking operations.
  • ADR qualification (preferred but not essential).
  • Forklift licence (advantageous).
