Industrial – Caretaker in Mosely

Working pattern: Mon – Friday, start time 7:00 AM.

Location: Mosely B13.

Pay rate: £13.45.

Must have Adult Barred Enhanced DBS only.

D1 Licence experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • General caretaker duties in an adult day-care centre for citizens with physical and learning disabilities.
  • Checking, monitoring and recording daily, weekly, and monthly building content to maintain a safe environment for citizens and staff.
  • Clear and accurate record keeping is essential dealing with contractors reporting any faults to appropriate people, and general upkeep inside and outside of the building.
  • Driving cover may be required in the event of absences and sickness to support citizens in the centre.
What You’ll Need
  • A Full Driving Licence: This is essential as you will be driving vans and larger vehicles.
  • Practical Skills: Ability to undertake minor maintenance and cleaning tasks both indoors and outdoors.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written skills for recording data, reporting issues, and engaging with the public.
  • Leadership: The ability to supervise staff and contractors effectively.
  • Flexibility: A willingness to work between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM as service needs dictate.
