Major Recruitment is proud to partner with a leading international automotive company with a significant presence in the Shipley area (Commutable from Bradford and West Leeds). Our client operates a large factory employing over 700 people and continues to expand across the UK. We are seeking dedicated Manufacturing Operatives to join their dynamic team.

Your Role as a Production Operative

As a Production Operative, you’ll play a key role in assembling essential components using power tools and detailed engineering drawings. You’ll also be involved in operating machinery as part of the production process. This is a physical, practical role ideal for someone who enjoys working with their hands and takes pride in precision and quality.

Shift Pattern

Monday to Thursday: 10:00pm – 6:00am
Friday: 4:00pm – 9:00pm
37 hours per week
Early finish every Friday

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Carrying out basic production duties
  • Building and assembling agricultural vehicle components
  • Operating machinery safely and efficiently
  • Using a variety of power tools
  • Reading and working from detailed technical drawings
  • Performing basic quality checks
  • Working efficiently in a fast-moving production setting
  • Collaborating with your team while also being confident working independently

  • Experience in production or manufacturing (preferred)
