We are currently recruiting for a Line Leader to work fulltime Monday to Friday, on weekly rotational day shifts of 06:00 - 14:00 and 14:00 - 22:00, at an established food production company on Stafford Park. This Line Leader position offers a pay rate of £14.45 per hour, this is a temporary to permanent role.
Responsibilities of a Line Leader:
- Overseeing a group of colleagues
- Repeatedly lifting products up to a maximum of 25kg
- Operating machines
- Inputting production information into a SAGE system
- Grading and Sorting products correctly
- Carrying out quality inspections
- Packaging products into relevant bags and boxes
- Working to a customer specification
- Ensuring all production and personal targets are met
Requirements for a Line Leader:
- Previous experience within a food production company
- Experience as a packing, production or quality operative
- Experience in a team leader or supervisor position
- Flexibility to work a rotational shift pattern
- Ability to work as a team and individually
