My Client is currently recruiting for an experienced Digital Marketing Manager based in Telford to join a growing team in a pivotal, senior role. This is an opportunity for a commercially minded digital leader to take ownership of online performance, directly influencing growth, visibility, and revenue. This is an office based role.

Reporting to the Sales & Marketing Director, you will lead our marketing team, manage agency partners, and drive strategy across ecommerce, marketplaces, and digital channels. While the role is primarily digital-focused, you will also collaborate with the Business Development Manager to ensure offline activity supports wider business objectives. You’ll shape digital strategy end-to-end, from performance marketing and CRO through to marketplaces, SEO, and customer experience. You’ll have the autonomy to test, learn, and implement improvements quickly. This position combines hands-on delivery with leadership, allowing you to both execute and build a growing marketing team. You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders, directly influencing commercial decisions and seeing the real impact of your work on business performance.

Responsibilities

  • Strategy & Performance
    • Plan, develop, and implement effective digital marketing strategies.
    • Own performance metrics across all online channels including Shopify websites, Amazon, and eBay.
    • Monitor and report on KPIs including conversion rate, CAC / ROAS, AOV, and repeat purchase behaviour.
    • Analyse trends and identify opportunities to drive traffic and revenue growth.
  • Website & CRO
    • Identify UX, messaging, and checkout funnel drop-offs to improve conversion rates.
    • Deliver high-impact improvements using Shopify apps, heatmaps, and on-site feedback tools.
    • Oversee SEO activity including audits, testing, and optimisation to improve discoverability and domain authority.
  • Marketplaces & Channels
    • Create, manage, and optimise listings across all online marketplaces.
    • Manage external agencies responsible for PPC and email marketing, ensuring activity aligns with KPIs and wider strategy.
    • Research and implement email automation and lifecycle marketing opportunities.
  • Leadership & Collaboration
    • Directly manage and mentor a Marketing Executive and future team members.
    • Work cross-functionally to resolve issues, improve processes, and enhance the customer experience.
    • Review and improve offline marketing activity to support B2B and government sales growth.

Experience and Skills

  • Proven experience in digital marketing within an ecommerce environment.
  • Strong commercial mindset with the ability to turn data into actionable insight.
  • Hands‑on experience with Shopify, Google Analytics, and paid media platforms advantageous.
  • Excellent analytical, organisational, and communication skills.
  • Awareness of current online marketing concepts, strategy and best practice.
  • Experience managing or mentoring team members is desirable but not essential.
