Account Manager in Shrewsbury

Major Recruitment is seeking an Account Manager to join their client\’s team. This person will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with existing and potential new customers. This position will also be responsible for managing the customer\’s account and ensuring the customer\’s satisfaction.

Salary – upto £28,000 depending on experience

Commission on sales

28 days holiday plus bank holiday

Birthday holiday

Essential Duties for Account Manager

• Dealing with new and existing customer base
• Liaising with new and existing clients
• Engaging with customer to convert quotations into sales
• Proactively seek out new customers to increase sales
• Management of key accounts
• Provide customer service to all customers in a timely manner
• Respond to customer inquiries in a timely manner
• Prepare quotes for customers
• Ensure that all customer requests are met in a timely manner
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Account Manager or Business Manager

Skills and Experience

• Previous experience of working within a sales/customer service or account manager role
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong administration skills
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word and Excel
• Experience of working with a CRM system ideally
