My Telford based client is currently recruiting for an experienced Production and Quality Assistant. As the Production and Quality Assistant, you would be working for a family-owned Company within the light engineering sector, manufacturing a range of products made from a variety of materials. There will be occasions when you would be expected to book out deliveries and visit customers if any quality issues or suppliers’ quality issues were to arise.
Salary is negotiable depending on experience. 28 days annual leave (including bank holidays) – some holidays are fixed due to Company shutdowns. Working hours are 8am – 4.30pm Monday to Thursday and Friday 8am – 12.30pm.
Responsibilities:- Maintain quality data and report to Managers
- Audit processes across the business
- Identify and resolve quality issues
- Supervise factory floor staff
- Manage staff in the absence of the Factory Manager
- Collate orders for despatch
- From an Engineering background
- Quality experience
- Ability to read technical drawings
- Previous supervisory experience
- Full clean driving licence
