A Proposals Engineer is sought by a growing Engineering company in the Gateshead area JOB DESCRIPTION Working within a successful Sales & Commercial team as a Proposals Engineer you will support the proposals process by logging enquiries, collating technical and commercial information, liaising with clients and suppliers and preparing / submitting proposal documentation to clients. You will also monitor submitting enquiries and establishing an awareness of the current market situation. KEY SKILLS The successful Proposals Engineer will have previous experience working within a proposals engineer role within an engineering company and have a basic understanding of commercial contracts. You will need experience of compiling complex commercial contracts and complex engineering projects. A HNC / Degree in engineering or business related discipline (or equivalent experience) and experience within an Electrical Engineering environment is also essential.
