Our long-established manufacturing client, based in Daventry, are seeking a reliable and proactive permanent, Part Time, Warehouse Operative to join their growing team.
Warehouse Operative Responsibilities:
- Preparing orders and wrapping pallets ready for dispatch.
- Assisting with shipping and receiving processes to ensure timely dispatch and receipt of goods.
- Handling materials efficiently and safely within the warehouse environment.
- Setting up and operating filling machines in the production area.
- Lidding & packing jars and bottles ready for dispatch.
- Putting away goods received and also retrieving jars and bottles from stock and preparing for production.
- Cleaning down machines & filling lines.
- Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the warehouse space at all times.
Warehouse Operative Requirements:
- Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not essential; full training will be provided.
- Be self-motivated and able to work on your own and as part of a team.
- Have a continuous improvement mindset.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during daily operations.
- Strong organisational skills with an eye for detail to maintain high standards of quality control.
