Pay: Β£16.75 per hour (via Major) β Β£17.18 per hour when permanent
Hours: 39 hours per week + overtime
Mon-Thurs: 08:00-17:00
Fri: 08:00-13:00
Our client in Middleton are a well-established UK manufacturer of recycling and waste-handling machinery, supplying customers across the recycling and waste management sector. Their product range includes conveyors, shredders, balers, compactors and MRF systems. They are known for being a friendly, people-focused business with long-serving staff and a supportive working environment.
The Role
This is a hands-on Stores Supervisor position within a busy engineering/manufacturing environment. You will take ownership of the stores function, supervising day-to-day activity while ensuring stock accuracy, organisation, and smooth support to production. This role suits someone who leads by example, is well organised, and enjoys being part of a close-knit team.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervising and coordinating stores/warehouse operations
- Managing goods inwards and outwards
- Stock control and inventory accuracy
- Supporting production with timely supply of parts and materials
- Maintaining a clean, safe and well-organised stores area
- Leading and supporting the stores team on a daily basis
Essential Requirements
- Previous experience as a Stores Supervisor or Warehouse Supervisor (essential)
- Valid FLT Counterbalance licence (FLT Counterbalance)
