Major Recruitment are recruiting FLT Counterbalance Drivers for our client based in Royton, Oldham. A valid FLT Counterbalance Licence is essential to be considered for the role. Unfortunately, we are unable to accept in-house licences.
We are recruiting across rotating shifts (6am - 2pm / 2pm - 10pm) and fixed nights (10pm - 6am) Monday to Friday.
General duties:
- Working in a busy warehouse environment
- Operating a Counterbalance FLT
- Loading and unloading
- Moving stock around the site
- General warehouse duties
- Manual handling
- Heavy lifting
- Adhering to site health and safety
Pay Rate:
- £14.36 per hour for rotating shifts (6am - 2pm / 2pm - 10pm Monday to Friday)
- £16.36 per hour for fixed night shift (10pm - 6am Monday to Friday)
Pay will also be increased upon completion of additional FLT training, such as VNA, Reach, Bendi etc.
Requirements:
- Valid FLT Certificate (external accredited license required - in-house licenses cannot be accepted)
- Previous FLT Counterbalance experience
- Good understanding of health and safety procedures
- Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude
Training & Site Requirements:
- 2-3 weeks training on the 6:00am - 2:00pm shift before moving onto your allocated shift pattern
- Full medical assessment required prior to starting
- Drug testing
- No smoking policy on site
- Mobile phones are not permitted on the shop floor
