Major Recruitment has an exciting job opportunity for a Machine Operative/Production Technician to join our prestigious manufacturing client based in Chadderton. Previous machine operating experience is essential, CNC experience is highly desirable.
General duties to include:
- Working within a clean room manufacturing environment.
- Operating and monitoring a CNC ply cutting machine to cut materials to specified dimensions.
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings and work instructions to ensure accurate production.
- Carrying out quality checks on materials and finished parts to ensure they meet required standards.
- Reporting machine faults or breakdowns promptly to minimise downtime.
- Adhering to Health & Safety regulations, including safe machine operation and use of PPE.
Pay Rate: £15.26 per hour plus further increases once permanent and fully trained. Night shift - 22.00 - 06.00 Sunday to Thursday.
Skills and Experience required:
- Demonstrates a strong willingness to learn and develop new skills.
- Maintains excellent attendance and punctuality.
- Previous CNC operating experience is highly desirable.
- Flexible and able to work a rotating shift pattern.
