Responsible for: Site security, dealing with visitors and deliveries, administrative tasks
Working Hours: Mon-Fri 12:00pm-17:00pm
Pay rate: Β£12.60ph
Key Responsibilities
- Work to the established Health & Safety rules
- Welcome visitors, ensure all visitors receive site induction and are signed off
- Manage the issue and control of visitors' and contractors' access cards
- Contact the host and direct visitors and contractors to the correct location if the host does not come to Reception
- Welcome new starters to site and ensure they complete the visitor's induction; contact the Line Leader or Senior Operator to meet them
- Issue access fobs to employees
- Manage the ANPR system
- Respond to calls on the Intercom and direct drivers to the correct locations
- Request and collect required paperwork from delivery drivers
- Weigh bulk delivery tankers on entering and exiting the site
- Take and process samples of bulk materials according to procedures
- Answer internal and external calls
- Receive, register, and pass on mail deliveries
- Assist visitors when leaving site, e.g., arrange taxis
- Patrol premises at least once per shift to prevent or detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows, and gates
- Assist fire marshals with roll calls in the event of a fire alarm
- Contact emergency services when needed
- Assist with administrative tasks: printing, scanning, sending emails, etc.
- Represent the company in a positive manner
