We are recruiting on behalf of our client in the New Mills area for an experienced Technical Machine Operator. This is an excellent temp-to-perm opportunity with a well-established manufacturer offering long-term career prospects.
Working Hours
- Week 1: Monday to Thursday: 6:00am - 2:00pm, Friday: 6:00am - 12:00pm
- Week 2: Monday to Thursday: 2:00pm - 10:00pm, Friday: 12:00pm - 6:00pm
This is a rotating two-week shift pattern.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up, operate and monitor production machinery.
- Carry out quality checks to ensure products meet specification.
- Troubleshoot minor machine issues and report faults when required.
- Complete production documentation accurately.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Follow all company health and safety procedures.
Essential Requirements
- A consistent work history within a production or manufacturing environment is essential.
- Previous experience operating machinery in a manufacturing setting.
- Strong technical aptitude and mechanical awareness.
