Job Title: Procurement / Stock Controller
Location: On-site (with parking)
Salary: £26,000 – £29,000 per year (based on experience and contribution)
Employment Type: Full-time, 8-hour shifts

Job Summary:
A busy engineering company is seeking an experienced Procurement / Stock Controller to manage their stores. The role involves ensuring a constant supply of parts and materials, maintaining stock accuracy, and supporting manufacturing and installation programs.

Key Responsibilities:

Procurement & Supplier Management

Procure goods and services from new and existing suppliers
Negotiate prices and terms with manufacturing partners
Monitor supplier issues and provide alternatives
Liaise with other departments to implement solutions
Suggest process improvementsStock Control & Administration

Daily administration of stores (booking in, stock identification, scanning delivery notes)
Add new parts to the stock system
Maintain accurate stock levels and investigate discrepancies
Liaise with engineering/manufacturing teams regarding minimum and maximum stock levelsKey Requirements:

Minimum 3 years\’ experience in stores/procurement within an engineering environment
Excellent communication skills at all levels
Strong IT skills
Willingness to learn about all aspects of xiskglj manufacturing operationsQualifications:

GCSE or equivalent (preferred)
