Major Recruitment are recruiting an Assistant Credit Controller for a well‑established manufacturer based in New Mills. This is a permanent role from day one, ideal for someone looking to build or continue a career in credit control and finance.
Duties include:
- Assisting with the management and collection of outstanding customer balances
- Reviewing aged debt and chasing payments
- Allocating payments to the sales ledger
- Carrying out new customer credit checks and due diligence
- Setting up and maintaining credit terms
- Raising and monitoring credit notes
- Supporting month‑end processes and reporting
- Providing general office support when required
Salary: £25,000 per annum
Hours:
- Monday – Thursday: 8:30am – 4:30pm
- Friday: 9:00am – 4:30pm
