Our client, a well-established and busy sheet metal manufacturing company based in Chadderton, is currently seeking an experienced Installation Fitter to join their growing team. Working as part of a two-person installation team, you will be responsible for installing flue ductwork systems at customer sites throughout the UK. This is a hands-on role that involves regular travel and site-based work, with flexibility required to accommodate project schedules.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Installation of flue ductwork and associated systems at customer sites across the UK.
  • Working effectively as part of a two-person installation team.
  • Adhering to all site health and safety regulations.
  • Loading, transporting and handling materials and equipment.
  • Representing the company professionally whilst on customer sites.

Essential Requirements:

  • Previous site fitting or engineering installation experience.
  • Ability to safely lift and carry loads of up to 20kg.
  • Comfortable working at height.
  • Valid CSCS Card.
  • Full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
  • Flexible approach to working hours, including early starts, late finishes and occasional overnight stays when required.
