About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Welder with a strong background in sheet metal fabrication to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working with various metals, including stainless steel, mild steel, and aluminium, and be proficient in TIG and MIG welding techniques. This role involves working on a variety of projects, from bespoke fabrications to large-scale production runs, ensuring all work meets high-quality standards and customer specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform TIG, MIG, and MMA welding on sheet metal components to exacting standards.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
- Operate fabrication equipment such as press brakes, guillotines, and grinders.
- Carry out precise cutting, shaping, and assembling of sheet metal parts.
- Conduct quality inspections on completed work to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Work independently and collaboratively as part of a team to meet production deadlines.
- Maintain a safe and organised workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Assist in problem-solving and process improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Welder in sheet metal fabrication.
- Proficiency in TIG, MIG, and MMA welding techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Experience working with stainless steel, mild steel, and aluminium.
- Skilled in the use of fabrication tools and equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Desirable Qualifications:
- NVQ Level 3 in Welding, Fabrication, or a related field.
