Major Recruitment are recruiting for a skilled and experienced Temporary Warehouse Operative with reach and counterbalance forklift truck licences with at least 2 years' experience.

The Details

  • Pay Rate: £13.50 per hour
  • Hours: 37 hours per week
  • Shift Pattern: Monday to Thursday: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM, Alternate Fridays: 7:30 AM - 12:30 PM OR 11:00 AM - 4:00 PM
  • Breaks: 15-min morning break, 30-min lunch, 15-min afternoon break
  • Location: Birmingham B11

Key Responsibilities

  • Primary Role: Picking customer orders efficiently using a Reach forklift truck.
  • Loading and unloading raw materials, production components, and finished goods using a Counterbalance forklift.
  • Handling export packing and despatch duties.
  • Controlling the movement of raw materials and finished goods into segregated warehouse zones.
  • Maintaining strict general housekeeping standards to ensure a safe working environment.

What You Must Have (Non-Negotiable)

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of active experience operating both Reach and Counterbalance trucks.
  • Licences: Valid, refreshed Reach and Counterbalance licences issued within the last 3 years.
  • Steering Capability: Ideally, experience operating a 360-degree steering Reach truck.
