Major Recruitment Oldbury are delighted to be recruiting for our local Dudley based client who are seeking a Production Process Engineer to work at their busy production plant. Hours of work are Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm.
Duties and tasks will include:
- Develop, optimise, and maintain manufacturing processes to improve product quality, reduce waste, and increase production efficiency.
- Monitor key production parameters, analyse data, and troubleshoot process issues to minimise downtime and improve productivity.
- Lead and participate in continuous improvement projects using Lean, Six Sigma, and other process improvement methodologies.
- Ensure that production processes meet established quality standards and regulatory requirements, including ISO certifications.
- Work closely with production teams, maintenance, and quality departments to identify areas for improvement and support implementation.
- Provide training to operators on new processes and best practices.
- Develop and implement strategies for cost reduction without compromising quality, through process optimisation, waste reduction, and equipment performance improvement.
- Collect and analyse production data to generate reports for management, identifying trends, and providing recommendations for performance improvement.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations in all aspects of production.
