Major Recruitment are currently looking for a Receptionist in Hemel Hempstead. Part time, Monday & Tuesday contract, 8am to 5pm with agreed overtime to cover additional days. Pay rate: £12.71. Location: Hemel Hempstead Herts HP2 4TZ.
As a Receptionist, you will be at the heart of their Hemel Hempstead Corporate Head Office, providing a warm and professional welcome to visitors, clients and colleagues. This varied role supports the day-to-day running of the office, ensuring front-of-house operations are managed efficiently while delivering essential administrative support and providing an organised and positive workplace experience.
What you'll do:
- Provide a professional, friendly and welcoming experience for all visitors, clients and colleagues.
- Manage visitor and contractor access and issue security passes in line with site procedures.
- Support the booking and coordination of meeting rooms and event coordination.
- Process and distribute incoming and outgoing mail accurately and efficiently.
- Monitor stationery stock levels and place orders to ensure supplies are maintained.
- Carry out monthly checks of first aid boxes and maintain accurate inspection records.
Who you are:
- Previous customer service or reception experience is essential.
- Full working knowledge of GDPR and compliance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to engage professionally with colleagues, visitors and stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Teams, Outlook and Excel.
- Knowledge of Condeco & Net2 desirable.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
- A proactive, reliable and friendly individual committed to delivering excellent service and supporting a positive workplace experience.
