Major Recruitment are looking for a Hygiene Manager in Leicester. Initial 3 month with a potential permanent role. Salary: 40k p/annum. Weekly hours will be 40 and 8am to 4pm Monday to Friday. Location: Wigston LE18.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a safe and professional approach while working on site.
  • Take ownership of KPIs.
  • Ensure all allocated tasks are completed to the correct frequency & high standard.
  • Ensure Supervisors and support staff operational documentation are fully and correctly completed, e.g. ensuring cleaning sign off records are fully & correctly completed. (This data feeds into KPI and external audit results).
  • Take responsibility for the completion of payroll.
  • Responsible for recruitment and ISS onboarding.
  • Conduct annual Staff Appraisals.
  • Attend ISS management monthly & quarterly meetings.
  • Attend Client weekly and Monthly Meetings.

Competences/Training:

  • Previous Hygiene Management experience, experience of managing a team, Finance, Payroll, Recruitment.
  • H&S Management.
  • Experience of working in the food industry (Preferred).
  • Strong Leadership Skills.
  • Team Building.
  • Problem Solver.
  • Knowledge of cleaning methodology, systems & procedures.
  • Staff Appraisal.
  • Training will be involved.
