Major Recruitment Oldbury are delighted to be recruiting for our Halesowen based client who are seeking a hands-on Production Supervisor for their machine shop. The hourly rate is £15.22 per hour with a 6.5 hour shift allowance at £126.60 per week which equates to £36,700 per annum. Hours of work are Monday to Friday 6am to 2pm.
Duties and tasks will include:
- Planning and organisation of works orders and labour within the department to achieve agreed daily OTD and recoveries
- Ensuring that standard working practices are followed on all operations in terms of Workflow, WIP quantities, process/cycle times
- Monitor, analyse and order department consumable stock levels
- Liaise with internal teams
- Liaise with maintenance on breakdown and machine availability
- Adhere to H&S
