Purpose
To assist in ensuring that the Park is maintained and overseen to the highest possible standards in accordance with the Park Management Plan for the enjoyment, recreation and safety of visitors.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
- Carry out general grounds maintenance in all areas of the Park to achieve high standards of horticulture and presentation
- Construct and install horticultural features to improve the Park\’s appearance and facilities
- Maintain trees to high arboricultural standards and for public safety
- Carry out renovation, maintenance and final preparation of sports facilities to ensure a good standard of playing surface and accurately marked out pitches
- Clean and maintain buildings, drains, paths, park furniture etc. to ensure that facilities are safe and clean in the Park
- Operate and maintain machinery, vehicles and equipment in a safe and efficient manner
