We are recruiting for an experienced Calibration Engineer based in Tamworth. Hours: Monday to Friday 9am-5pm. A valid driving licence is required.
Responsibilities
- Attend customer sites, complete calibration work to defined methods, record results accurately, complete site visit information, and support certificate completion where authorised.
- Support the laboratory with equipment preparation, goods-in and goods-out, labelling, calibration records, and related technical work.
- Prepare for site calibration visits by checking scope, assets, calibration points, equipment, site details, and access requirements.
- Carry out calibration work in line with company procedures and quality requirements.
- Record calibration data accurately and promptly.
- Complete site visit records, follow-up notes, and completion information.
- Sign and upload certificates where trained and authorised.
- Identify and escalate out-of-tolerance results, failed calibrations, damaged equipment, access issues, or customer concerns.
- Support goods-in, goods-out, equipment preparation, labelling, testing, packing, and returns within the laboratory workflow.
- Support installation, service, or lab work where specifically planned.
- Maintain professional conduct on customer sites.

- Calibration visits are completed professionally and on time.
- Calibration records are accurate and complete.
- Certificates and completion information are not delayed by missing detail.
- Site issues are recorded and escalated while they are still actionable.
