Major Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced Warehouse Operative / Overhead Crane Operator to join a well-established busy precision tube manufacturers in Dudley. This is a great opportunity for individuals with steel industry experience, seeking a stable, full-time role with the potential to secure a permanent contract.

Job Details:

  • Location: Dudley
  • Pay Rate: £13.35ph / £14.35ph
  • Contract: Temp to Perm
  • Shift Pattern: Rotating weekly shifts: 6:00am - 2:00pm, 2:00pm - 10:00pm, 10:00pm - 6:00am. You must be able to work ALL 3 shifts.
  • Monday to Friday - Full time
  • Overtime may be available

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely handling and moving steel tube bundles within the warehouse
  • Operating overhead cranes and lifting equipment
  • Loading and unloading deliveries and outgoing orders
  • Picking, preparing, and dispatching customer orders
  • Carrying out quality checks on products before storage and dispatch
  • Labelling and tracking stock accurately
  • Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in the Steel industry
  • Overhead crane experience is essential
  • Strong awareness of health & safety practices
  • Good attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work as part of a team and in a fast paced environment
  • Basic computer skills
  • Flexible and reliable with a willingness to work rotating shifts
