Major Recruitment are currently recruiting for a General Building Operative in Godstone to carry out a range of daily facilities duties which facilitate the smooth running of the premises, undertaking duties relating to the operation of buildings and surrounding grounds in line with key SLA and KPI's.
Location: (M25 Junction 6) (Godstone) - RH9
Shift hours: Saturday and Sunday 7am to 7pm (however, training will need to be given to understand the building and controls) which will need to be done during Mon - Friday.
Rates: £12.82 p/h
Start date: ASAP
This role will require you to fill a BPSS form which requires the candidate to provide work references in the UK for the past 3 years.
Responsibilities:
- Ability to respond to requests in a timely manner, assisting with a wide range of activities.
- Comply with companies Health and Safety processes and procedures.
- Assist with the completion of both reactive and planned tasks.
- Good customer relationship skills.
- Undertake role in a professional and safe manner at all times.
- Carry out general security tasks such as management of CCTV and alarm systems.
- Undertake activities requested by client efficiently and effectively.
- Carry out general cleaning/maintenance tasks when required.
- Raising, updating and closing down of reactive tasks and remedial works.
- Undertake statutory inspections.
- Provide first line response to reactive events.
- Porterage and logistic support services as required - ordering, distribution and storage of materials.
