Job Title: Quality Assurance Technician Location: Mundford Norfolk Rate of pay: £12.95 – £13.20ph Working Hours: Shift pattern: Early shift 6am – 2pm and Late shift (2pm – 10pm), Monday to Friday Major Recruitment are working together with a well established company in the pet food industry, we have a great role on for a Quality Assurance Technician. This role is a temp to perm and comes with a competitive salary and benefits. Immediate starts available Key responsibilities will include: Carrying out daily checks to maintain site compliance. inspecting and assessing products against specifications through all stages of production. report any quality issues to the line manager. inspecting raw materials to ensure consistency and integrity. ensure shelf-life is conducted; data recorded and report any failures. filling out and reviewing production paperwork Maintain retention samples and testing records Calibration of probes as requested. Conducting glass audits and good manufacturing production audits The list is not exhausted. What are we looking for: Previous experience in a QA role, preferably in a BRC-accredited factory Previous food manufacturing experience Basic Food Hygiene Certificate but not essential An eye for detail, to catch defects. A natural communicator and team worker A good level of written and spoken English. Ability to work using initiative.
