About the Role: Our manufacturing client is actively looking for a reliable and organised Stores Assistant to help keep their production operation running smoothly by managing stock, preparing materials for manufacturing, and ensuring goods are received and dispatched accurately. Working within a small business environment, you will play an important part in the day-to-day operation of the company and have the opportunity to support different areas of the business when required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and check incoming deliveries to ensure the correct items have arrived and are in good condition.
- Record stock accurately and store materials in the correct locations.
- Prepare and issue parts and materials needed by the production team.
- Help maintain accurate stock records and carry out regular stock checks.
- Monitor stock levels and notify management when items need reordering.
- Keep the stores area clean, organised, and clearly labelled.
- Package finished products carefully for shipment to customers.
