Job Title: Multiskilled Warehouse Operative (PM Shift) Location: Snetterton, Norfolk Working Hours: Sunday: 14:00 – 00:00 Monday to Thursday: 17:00 – 03:00 Salary: £28,454.40 per annum About the Company: Major Recruitment is proud to be working with the UK\’s No.1 raw pet food brand – a rapidly growing name in the pet food industry and Europe\’s leading expert in raw and natural nutrition for cats and dogs. We are currently seeking a Multiskilled Warehouse Operative to join the team at their busy ambient and freezer warehouse. This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven, reliable, and proactive individual with experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Key Responsibilities: Order Picking: Accurately pick and build customer orders using handheld scanners or manual pick sheets. Ensure pallets are built to specific customer requirements and delivery deadlines. Pick and pack D2C (direct-to-consumer) orders for next-day delivery (weights from 1kg to 60kg). Loading & Unloading: Safely load and unload vehicles, including customer orders and supplier deliveries. Handle stock transfers between external partners, 3PL providers, and company fleet vehicles. Inventory Management: Support regular stock checks and maintain accurate inventory records. Identify and report any stock discrepancies to the warehouse management team. Use SAP inventory control software to scan and update pallet movements. Record and report breakages or damaged stock. Skills & Attributes: Essential: Strong team player with the ability to work independently. Reliable with a positive attitude and strong work ethic. Physically fit – able to lift up to 15kg and move pallets (up to 600kg) using manual handling equipment. Previous experience in a warehouse environment. Basic IT proficiency, numeracy, and literacy skills. Flexible approach to working hours and tasks. Own transport is essential due to site location. A \”safety-first\” mindset, adhering to all company health and safety procedures. Full UK driving licence required. Desirable: Experience using SAP or a similar warehouse management system. Background in food manufacturing or cold storage. Valid licences for: Counterbalance Forklift Reach Truck Ride-On Pallet Truck Good understanding of quality control and customer satisfaction standards. Working Conditions: Fast-paced and physically demanding environment. Freezer work in temperatures as low as -17°C (appropriate PPE provided). Requires self-motivation and ability to maintain focus during long shifts.
