Estimator required for an Established Construction Firm. Location: Central London Contract: Full Time | Permanent | Fully On-site Are you an experienced Estimator with a passion for historic buildings, restoration projects and conservation work? An established construction firm is seeking a proactive and detail-focused Estimator to join its growing team in Central London. This is an excellent opportunity to work on prestigious restoration and heritage projects while contributing to the successful delivery of high-quality tenders. The successful candidate will be immediately available, subject to CTC security clearance checks, and will thrive working in a fast-paced environment where accuracy, organisation and commercial awareness are essential. Key Responsibilities: Review and analyse tender documentation. Prepare and issue subcontractor and supplier enquiries. Arrange and attend subcontractor site visits. Assess works on site and review project scope. Produce accurate cost estimates for labour, plant, materials and subcontract packages. Compare and evaluate subcontract quotations. Measure quantities from drawings and site information. Prepare tender programmes and submission documents. Draft tender letters and clarifications. Support tender adjudications with senior estimators. Assist with quality submissions. Attend post-tender interviews. Experience Required: Previous estimating experience within the construction industry. Strong experience pricing labour, plant, materials and subcontract packages. Ability to manage multiple estimates simultaneously and meet strict deadlines. Experience working under pressure while maintaining high levels of accuracy. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Interest in restoration, conservation and historic building projects. Qualifications & Skills: Construction-related degree or qualification preferred. Strong IT skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Project.
