We are recruiting an experienced Site Administrator

Ashton in Makerfield, Wigan - Β£26936 per annum - Permanent

Monday-Thursday, 8:30am-4:30pm Friday, 8:30am-4:00pm 37 hours per week - Fully site-based

We are recruiting an experienced Site Administrator for an established manufacturing business in Wigan.

This is a busy and varied position providing purchasing and administrative support across the site. A key part of the role will be raising purchase orders, booking in goods and resolving supplier invoice queries, alongside general office and site coordination.

Duties will include:

  • Raising and processing purchase orders
  • Booking in goods and maintaining delivery documentation
  • Resolving queries with suppliers and Purchase Ledger
  • Ordering stationery, uniforms and site supplies
  • Preparing weekly operational reports
  • Managing new-starter packs, clock cards and site access
  • Greeting visitors and assisting with couriers and deliveries
  • Arranging transport, accommodation and meeting refreshments
  • Preparing letters and taking notes during employee meetings
  • Providing general administrative support across the business

We are looking for:

  • Previous administration or purchasing experience
  • Experience raising purchase orders and booking in goods
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills
  • Excellent organisation and attention to detail
  • Confidence managing a busy and varied workload
  • A helpful, proactive and professional approach
  • A driving licence and access to a car
  • Experience using D365, Microsoft Dynamics or another ERP system would be beneficial but is not essential.
