A long‑established North West manufacturer is looking to add a Quality Assurance Inspector to its team. The business designs and produces a range of engineered products used across the UK and internationally and is known for high standards and continuous improvement. This is a permanent role within a small, supportive QA team, offering stability, variety, and scope to grow.
The Role
- Incoming goods checks, in‑process production audits and final product inspections
- Visual, dimensional and performance testing on mainly plastic components, with some metal assemblies
- Recording results, maintaining documentation and advising production teams on non‑conformances
- Supporting new product introductions and quality investigations
- Liaising with design, production and suppliers to maintain standards and prevent issues
About You
- Background in manufacturing or engineering quality inspection
- Confident using gauges and test equipment, reading drawings and working to ISO 9001 standards
- Strong attention to detail and methodical approach
- Proactive, reliable and able to work well within a small team
This role would suit a practical QA or QC Inspector who enjoys hands‑on inspection and problem‑solving within a busy manufacturing environment.
Package
- Salary up to £35,000 depending on experience
- 33 days holiday (increasing with service)

- Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm
Location: Blackpool area – commutable from Preston, Fleetwood, Lytham, Kirkham, Lancaster
