What you’ll be doing
- Overseeing VAT returns
- Handling invoicing, credit notes, payroll & pensions
- Month-end close and cashflow/margin reporting
- Liaising with external accountants, HMRC, and internal teams
- Supporting customer and supplier accounts
- Assisting with stock takes, Sage data entry and reporting
- Helping train others in the team and stepping in when needed
What you’ll need
- Experienced in Accounts
- Confident in Excel and essential: experience using Sage 200
- Hands-on experience in SMEs where you’ve had to juggle tasks and work cross-functionally
- The ability to spot issues before they become problems, and explain them without jargon
- Comfortable working with everyone - from customers to directors
