The Opportunity

Major Recruitment is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing travel organisation for an experienced Senior Transport Executive. Working within a busy operations team, you will coordinate travel arrangements for educational group tours, working closely with suppliers and colleagues to ensure every booking is managed accurately, efficiently and delivers an exceptional customer experience.

The Role

  • Coordinate air, coach and rail travel for group tours
  • Obtain competitive quotations from transport suppliers
  • Secure and confirm travel bookings
  • Manage airline reservations using GDS systems (Amadeus preferred)
  • Process airline ticketing and manage schedule changes
  • Ensure all booking information is accurate and completed within deadlines
  • Liaise with suppliers and build strong working relationships
  • Resolve booking queries and travel issues quickly and efficiently
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of travel programmes
  • Deliver exceptional customer service at every stage of the booking process
