Are you an organised Finance Administrator who enjoys working with numbers, spreadsheets and data accuracy? If you’re confident handling costings, updating financial data, and working closely with different teams, this could be a great next step.
I’m recruiting on behalf of a well-established organisation within the educational travel sector. The business offers a supportive environment, strong internal processes, and genuine opportunities to grow into more commercial or pricing-focused roles over time.
The Role
This is a broad finance administration role with a strong focus on pricing support, contract data, and cost accuracy. It would suit someone who enjoys structured work, attention to detail, and applying numerical skills in a commercial setting.
Key responsibilities include:
- Contract & Data Administration (approx. 50%)
- Uploading and maintaining supplier contracts, rates and cost data
- Reviewing updates and ensuring accuracy across internal systems
- Identifying and correcting discrepancies in financial and pricing data
- Costing & Pricing Support (approx. 30%)
- Preparing tour costings and pricing using established templates
- Checking margins and supporting profitability reviews
- Applying basic commercial judgement when reviewing costs
- Product & Stakeholder Support (approx. 20%)
- Supporting product teams with rate updates and system changes
- Assisting with accommodation descriptions and documentation updates
- Liaising with internal teams including Finance, Pricing, Purchasing and Product
You will work most closely with the Pricing team, with regular interaction across the wider commercial and finance functions.
What They’re Looking For
This role would suit someone who:
- Has experience in a finance admin, pricing admin, or data-focused role
- Is highly accurate with numbers and confident using spreadsheets
- Has strong attention to detail and follows processes well
- Is comfortable engaging with internal stakeholders
- Can manage multiple systems in a fast-paced environment
A formal finance qualification isn’t essential, but strong numeracy and confidence working with financial data is important. Experience in travel, education, or service-based environments would be advantageous but not required.
What’s on Offer
- 35-hour working week, Monday to Friday
- Flexible start and finish times ie 8-4, 8.30-4.30, 9-5, 9.30-5.30
- Hybrid working available following initial training
- 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, increasing with service
- Pension scheme
- Access to wellbeing and mental health support
- Friendly, collaborative working environment
- Clear progression opportunities into pricing, product or commercial roles
