About the Role:
This is a physically demanding, hands-on role within a dynamic production environment. You will play a key part in the processing of incoming materials and preparing refined metals for analysis and dispatch to clients. Full training will be provided, including on specialist equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate mechanical shears and other machinery to deconstruct waste catalytic converters (no prior experience required - full training provided)
- Manually handle, sort, and move materials as well as operate a forklift truck (FLT)
- Maintain accurate records of materials processed on a daily and weekly basis
- Ensure strict compliance with Health & Safety policies and procedures
- Achieve and maintain daily production targets
- Assist with the identification, sorting, and storage of stock
- Keep all working areas clean, organized, and free of hazards
- Contribute to various aspects of operations as needed, supporting the company's continued growth
- Maintain high environmental standards and support sustainability practices
Requirements:
- A good level of physical fitness due to the nature of the role
- A proactive and reliable attitude
- Forklift truck licence is desirable, but not essential - training can be provided
