Major Recruitment have teamed up with a large telecommunications client in the Leeds/Horsforth area. They have an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Executive to join their successful team.

Requirements
  • Previous Senior Telesales Experience with longevity in role essential.
  • Excellent, confident communicator with a professional telephone manner and excellent sales skills particularly around building strong rapport, great exploring techniques and the ability to push for the sale on every call.
  • Adopt role model behaviour at all times and be the person that new starters and junior staff members aspire to be in terms of sales performance, knowledge and positive influence.
  • Promote best practices within the business and be the go-to person in terms of knowledge of the business and its processes.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail with ability to organise and prioritise workload.
  • Resilience when working under pressure with a strong work ethic and reliability.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal support.
  • Target conscious and results driven.
Duties & Responsibilities
  • Compliance with the DCC Code of Conduct and other Group Policies.
  • Maintaining regular consistent and professional attendance, punctuality, personal appearance, and adherence to relevant health & safety procedures.
  • Maintain a full understanding of Fuel Cards and the market.
  • Plan & prioritise sales activities to achieve agreed targets, involving high volume business to business cold calling.
  • Maintain and develop new and existing customers through appropriate sales methods, to optimise quality of service, business growth, and customer satisfaction.
  • Respond to, and follow up sales enquiries using appropriate methods.
  • Update all customer records on the CRM system.
  • Manage the accounts that are sold by the individual for a period of six months.
  • Answer and make calls in an efficient, professional and courteous manner.
  • Log information on calls where required and maintain detailed and accurate customer records.
  • Making sure all the Call Backs/Courtesy calls are up to date on a daily basis.
