Major Recruitment is excited to partner with a prominent international automotive business with a large Factory in Baildon/Shipley. This industry leader specializes in manufacturing Engine Cooling Systems for Off-Highway Vehicles.
Due to an increase in work load the business is looking for MIG/TIG or CMT Welders to join the factory team on an long term ongoing basis. Commutable from Bradford and West Leeds.

As a Welder, your responsibilities will be:
- Work in a dynamic factory environment.
- Operate advanced machinery and heavy-duty industrial equipment.
- Showcase your exceptional skills in TIG or CMT Welding
- Demonstrate your expertise in manual handling
- Prioritize safety and adhere to health and safety guidelines.
- Following plans & manufacturing processes
- Handle potentially heavy items and a variety of tools.
The ideal candidate:
- Previous experience of TIG or CMT Welding
- Proficiency in manual handling, with the ability to lift and carry heavy loads.
- Strong work ethic, ensuring punctuality and consistent attendance.
- Effective timekeeping
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
Working hours:
- Weekly alternating OR Nights
- Week 1:
- Monday-Thursday:6am-2pm, Friday:6am-11:00am
- Week 2.:
- Monday-Thursday:2pm-10pm, Friday: 11:00am-4:00pm
- Nights:
- Monday-Thursday: 10pm-6am, Friday: 16:00pm-21:00pm
Pay:
£16.16 – £17.24 per hour
