Major recruitment are seeking Production Operatives to join a fast-paced manufacturing environment in Huddersfield. This is a hands-on role involving spraying, laminating, and production processes. The work is physically demanding, involving heavy manual labour and working in a strong-smelling environment where PPE must be worn at all times. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates who are reliable, switched-on, and eager to learn a new skill. Full training will be provided, and there is a clear pay progression structure once permanent. Key Responsibilities: * Carry out laminating, spraying, and production duties as trained. * Work safely and effectively while wearing the required PPE throughout shifts. * Maintain high standards of productivity, quality, and attention to detail. * Follow health & safety procedures at all times. * Support general warehouse and manufacturing duties as required. Requirements: * Strong work ethic and a proven solid work history (does not need to be in laminating/spraying). * Previous experience in an industrial, warehouse, or manufacturing environment is desirable but not essential. * Ability to carry out physically demanding tasks, including heavy manual labour. * Must be reliable, punctual, and committed to attendance. * Willingness to learn new skills and complete training. * Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. What We Offer: * Clear pay scale progression from £12.21ph up to £13.80ph after training and permanent placement. * Temp-to-perm opportunity – permanent contract offered upon successful completion of 12-week probation. * Pay increases linked to training milestones and performance. * Full training and ongoing development provided. * Free onsite parking Probationary Period Expectations: Your attendance, timekeeping, productivity, and attitude will be strictly monitored throughout the 12-week probationary period.
