Major Recruitment Huddersfield is currently recruiting for a reliable and motivated Assembly Operative to join a well-established manufacturing business with an excellent reputation for quality and craftsmanship. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with strong practical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude to become part of a friendly, supportive team. Previous assembly or manufacturing experience is desirable, but full training will be provided for the right candidate.
Main Responsibilities
- Assemble signage products, including panels, brackets, and LED lighting systems.
- Read and follow work instructions, drawings, and specifications accurately.
- Use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Assist with fitting and wiring LED lighting when required.
- Check completed products meet quality and finish standards.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work area.
Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience in assembly or manufacturing (training provided for suitable candidates).
- Strong practical abilities and excellent attention to detail.
- Flexible and reliable with a positive, can-do attitude.
