Are you meticulous, detail-orientated, and passionate about automobiles? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Vehicle Inspection Operator. Major Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced Vehicle Inspection Operator for their client located in Thorne, Doncaster. As a Vehicle Inspector, you will play a major part in ensuring the quality of service described is adhered to by inspecting vehicles to the NEW BMW, AUC and BVRLA standards.
Key Responsibilities of a Vehicle Inspector- Capture high-quality images of damage as required, adhering to customer inspection standards. Review images to ensure they meet customers’ expectations for quality.
- Communicate with several internal and external partners to ensure vehicles are processed efficiently and accurately.
- Have the ability to autonomously identify damage and previous repairs, applying appropriate repair methods.
- Load work into designated areas and allocate costs to the appropriate responsibility.
- Fulfil additional duties as assigned by the line manager.
- Ensuring adherence to and improvement upon the quality of service as outlined in working procedures, as well as compliance with Health & Safety responsibilities and ISO 9001 accreditation.
- Maintaining awareness, knowledge, and training on environmental issues within the ISO 14001 standard.
- Ensuring compliance with site rules established by BMW.
- Previous experience as a Vehicle Inspector.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify issues accurately.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
