Major Recruitment are working with a market leading Manufacturer in the Doncaster area to recruit for a Logistics Administrator.

Role Type: Ongoing

Location: Hatfield Doncaster

Salary: £12.21 per hour

Hours Of Work: Days 8 hrs Mon – Thurs – Ideally 09:00-17:30 or similar, 6 hrs Fri

Duties will include but aren’t limited to:

  • Operating the weighbridge software to accurately weigh all bulk raw materials in and out of site, liaising with delivery drivers to achieve this.
  • Liaising with colleagues to receive and understand bulk weight density checks to enable accurate booking of bulk raw materials into SAP.
  • Liaising with collecting drivers as the first point of contact on arrival to site, issuing associated paperwork, announcing vehicle arrival to the wider logistics team to ensure minimal waiting time, in line with a pre-set transport plan.
  • Updating multiple spreadsheets to accurately control data on inbound and outbound loads, supporting multiple storage sites.
  • Updating SAP in line with the movement of finished goods across multiple storage sites.
  • Coordinating inbound bookings into site with suppliers for raw materials and packaging in line with site processes, maintaining accurate records with excel spreadsheets and SAP.
  • Controlling the returns process from an operational perspective; liaising with 3PL and production colleagues to ensure return information is clearly received to allow accurate updating of returns logs and SAP.
  • Creating Purchasing Requisitions and Purchasing Orders in SAP.
