This is an exciting opportunity for the successful injection mould technician/Tool maker to work for an engineering manufacturer based in Rotherham, due to a steady increase in orders and design thereof they are now looking to recruit and bolster out their engineering teams where duties will include:

  • Perform tool changes efficiently and safely.
  • Sometimes operate machines, conduct quality checks, and pack goods as needed.
  • Ensure machines run at optimal cycle times to maintain quality production.
  • Work effectively within a small team environment.
  • Carry out tool and material trials.
  • Conduct basic machine maintenance and troubleshoot issues.
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed.

Requirements:

  • Experience is essential – the candidate must be able to hit the ground running.
  • Strong leadership skills – as some of the leadership team are nearing retirement, they are looking for someone who can eventually step into a factory management role.
