Are you an experienced Vertical Borer/ Turner looking to work with our client, a large engineering company based in Sheffield? We’re seeking skilled CNC Millers to join a dynamic production team.
Working Hours & Pay
- 4 Day compressed working week
- Days – 6am – 4pm Monday to Thursday, with plenty of overtime availability
- Nights – 4.30pm – 2.30am, with plenty of overtime availability
- Pay Rates: Days £18.00 p/hr, Nights £23.70 p/hr
Key Responsibilities
- Operate CNC Webster Bennett machines up to 2.2m capacity
- Work with Fagor, Fanuc, and Siemens control systems
- Set up and machine a variety of components including castings, forgings, and fabrications
Materials Experience Required
- Carbon steel
- Duplex
- Stainless steel
- Copper
- Titanium
Skills & Requirements
- Proven experience in precision machining
- Ability to work to tight tolerances using a range of measuring equipment
