Major IT have partnered with a leading managed services business on an exclusive arrangement. As a company my client has achieved ISO status and Microsoft Gold Partner accreditations by delivering excellent customer quality and high end service delivery. The business also operates UK wide working across a number of SME’s and large Corporations with a client list that is looking to continue to grow around 20% year on year. As a result of continued expansion, my client has immediate requirements for an ICT Technician to work across several school sites in North London, Enfield and Harrow locations. A car and licence is a must for this role due to the position being field based! The person * The successful candidate will come from a similar IT background ideally within an ICT environment with at least 2 years industry experience with an ability to problem solve and work effectively with personnel from different teams within the company * You will be managing school networks and computer systems by carrying out reactive and proactive maintenance tasks on all ICT equipment, operating systems and core applications. * Applicants will need excellent customer handling and inter-personal skills, have the ability to work proactively and be able to show good planning and organisation skills * Opportunity to gain experience working with Windows Desktop and Windows Server OS, including DHCP, DNS, Group Policy and Active Directory as well as Google Chromebook and set-up iPad deployment * Windows Server experience (desirable) * Undertaking and supporting commercial sector clients by working with and learning from the senior technical team **Enhanced DBS and barred list check required **Due to the nature of the field work, you will need your own car and a driving licence Benefits: 25 Days Annual Leave Mileage paid Company Pension Scheme Private Health Care Employee Discount Scheme Ongoing Training & Development
