Our client operates a large, expanding factory employing over 700 people across the UK. We are currently seeking motivated Manufacturing Operatives to join their dynamic team.
Your Role as a Production Operative
As a Production Operative, you will play a crucial role in assembling high-quality components using power tools and technical drawings. You’ll also operate machinery and assist in the production process. This is a hands-on role, perfect for someone who enjoys practical work and takes pride in precision and efficiency.
Shift Pattern
- Monday – Thursday: 14:00 – 22:00
- Friday: 11:00 – 16:00
- 37 hours per week
- Early finish every Friday!
What You’ll Be Doing
- Carrying out basic production tasks
- Building and assembling automotive components
- Operating machinery safely and efficiently
- Using a variety of power tools
- Reading and working from detailed technical drawings
- Performing basic quality checks
- Working efficiently in a fast-paced production environment
- Collaborating with your team while also working independently
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in manufacturing or production (preferred)
- Confidence using power tools and machinery
- Ability to read technical drawings
- Comfortable with repetitive tasks and manual handling
- Strong communication skills
- Team player with a proactive attitude
- Excellent attendance and timekeeping
