Major Recruitment is proud to partner with a leading international automotive company with a significant presence in the Shipley area (commutable from Bradford and West Leeds). Our client operates a large factory employing over 700 people and continues to expand across the UK. We are seeking dedicated Manufacturing Operatives to join their dynamic team.
Your Role as a Manufacturing Operative:
- Operating machinery to produce high-quality automotive parts.
- Testing cooling systems for off-highway vehicles.
- Assembling oil coolers for tractors.
- Building and assembling modules.
- Handling heavy-duty industrial equipment.
- Ensuring all products meet stringent quality standards and customer timelines.
- Adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Following detailed plans and manufacturing processes.
Full training will be provided to help you excel in your role.
What We're Looking For:
- Previous experience in a production or assembly environment.
- Familiarity with machine operations and factory settings.
- Ability to handle manual tasks, including lifting and carrying heavy loads.
- Strong work ethic with excellent attendance and timekeeping.
- Good communication skills, including proficiency in written and spoken English.
- A keen eye for detail and the ability to work well within a team.

Shift Patterns:
- Weekly alternating shifts:
- Week 1: Monday - Thursday: 6am - 2pm, Friday: 6am - 11am
- Week 2: Monday - Thursday: 2pm - 10pm, Friday: 11am - 4pm
Pay Rate: £13.26 per hour
